please let us know if you have any questions, issues, stories, etc. about security

some things to keep in mind when throwing a party

1. As a host, you should make yourself available to security. Don’t hide in your room, take an active role. And, even if you are 21, you should remain somewhat coherent.
2. Keep a dry house if at all possible. If there is drinking in the house, it should be by 21 yr olds only and in a room not active in the party. But it makes things easier if all drinking happens in a different house, because drinking can't be part of the party.
3. If you see someone drinking/ smoking where they shouldn’t, tell them to go outside or remove the questionable substance from their person. Force is sometimes necessary.
4. Don’t put empties, etc. in public spaces, i.e. hallways and bathrooms.
5. If there is a problem, tell security. They’ll work it out and it won’t affect your party.

And Remember… It’s easier to let a party continue all night than it is to shut it down.
