Please encourage your friends of foreign language to sit with you at one of these weekly events! The opportunity to speak casually in your second language (especially with a professor) is not one to pass up.

10/27/08: Tutoring and foreign language lunch tables are now meeting! Please take advantage of the opportunity to enhance your language skills by speaking in your language of study once a week during lunch. Times are listed on the Language Leader chart (both posted on here and around campus). If there are any questions, please contact us or your language leader! Thanks.

10/11/08: Interested in reading and participating in the study of famous plays such as those by Garcia Lorca and Lope de Vega? There will be the first meeting of a group of Spanish playwright enthusiasts meeting in Down Commons on Sunday, 10/12/08 at 8:30 PM. There will be snacks and an introduction of goals/interests of the group. Contact Aubrey or gjames@bennington.edu for more information, or just show up this Sunday =).

10/10/08: We will hold a meeting for Language Leaders this Monday, October 13, at 12:15 p.m. in the Purple Dining Room.

10/9/08: There will be a Spanish Club meeting in the living room of Orchard D tonight (Thursday) at 8 PM.

10/2/08: We are still looking for students interested in being Language Leaders for all languages. Please contact Jess Cochrane or Aubrey Restifo for details.

9/25/08: The Foreign Language SEPC reps are looking for advanced students of all languages who are interested in becoming Language Leaders. The responsibilities of a Language Leader will include being available for individual or small group tutoring sessions for a few hours each week, as well as organizing and leading weekly Language Lunch Tables.
