[edit] GETTING AROUND
Rental car (minivan) from SFO in Joe's name, to be picked up Thursday 11pm and returned Sunday 9pm. Should be big enough for all of us and the luggage. We get a parking pass for the fair both days. Gas expenses approx. $80 (two tanks).

We'll be staying at my friend Rick Balassone's house in Santa Cruz, California. It's about 50 min drive from the San Mateo Fairgrounds. Rick and I are going to get bedstuffs together on his end, so we don't have to take anything. Rick lives in my old neighborhood.

- 2:00pm: Joe, Eben and Ang leave Bennington, get to Albany airport by 3:30pm.
- 5:00pm: Joe, Eben and Ang fly out of Albany.
- 10:30pm: Joe, Eben and Ang arrive in San Francisco, pick up rental car, drive to Santa Cruz.

- 10:00am: Set up table. Shouldn't take more than an hour. We can program the micro on Saturday.
- 12:00pm: Lunch at Apple.
- Afternoon: Explore Silicon Valley (Tech Museum?, Fry's Electronics? SLAC? Xerox PARC?).
- 5:00pm: Reid leaves Albany.
- 8:00pm: Kronos Quartet / Matmos concert at Yerba Buena Center, San Francisco.
- 11pm: Reid arrives in San Francisco. We pick him up, curbside.
