Descriptive notes

Bombus bimaculatus is difficult to distinguish from other Bombus species; I decided I had bimaculatus primarily because of coloration patterns and facial structure (I am still not one hundred percent sure I am correct). My specimen was collected in the dandilions and violets near the Orchard houses at 11:45 am on 10 May, 2011. It was identified using Discoverlife.org. For current taxanomic status see: ITIS
