Antennaria neglecta

Short, mat-forming plant with a single stalk bearing small clusters of fuzzy white flowers, resembling a cat's foot, hence the common name, "field pussytoes". A. neglecta is not shade tolerant and grows well in open meadows and lawns.

Patches of A. neglecta can be found in the field to the east of CAPA, and in the lawn north of the vapa faculty parking lot.
